Our mission is to support innovation, enrichment, and the expansion of learning opportunities in the Beacon City School District (BCSD) through fundraising, grantmaking, and strengthening community ties to our public schools.
Incorporated in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty it generated, the Foundation for Beacon Schools is a 501(c)3 charitable organization formed with the input and support of BCSD parents, teachers, administrators, and members of the broader Beacon community.

If you’re a BCSD teacher who would like to request funding for an innovative project or a new learning resource for which district funding is not currently available, please review the grantmaking timeline and complete a grant application form.
