FBS has teamed up with local philanthropist Karen Finnegan. Karen’s organization, Chickens with Attitude, is hosting a 5K race and fun-run on April 23, 2022, with live music performances, a book reading of Jolene the Disability Awareness Chicken, and great raffle prizes. The Chicken Run 5K will be held at the stunningly beautiful Sharpe Reservation and will be a family day out to remember. It may even feature a special visit from one of Karen’s famous chickens. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Foundation for Beacon Schools. Registration will be limited for the first year of this event, so make sure to register online today.
